With Budget 2015 about three weeks away many are wondering will it be full of promises for 2016 (to suit the general election campaigning) or will something be given back sooner rather than later?  There are arguments for both options but we certainly won’t know until October 14th, Budget 2015 day.

This will be the second Budget to take place in October (December is the norm) and the main reason for shifting the date is to be in line in with EU budget schedules.

Sign up for our blog newsletter if you want all the latest changes and expert feedback on what it will mean from a payroll processing perspective. as we will be analysing and commenting on them well ahead of  when they take affect in January 2015 (or 2016!).

So the questions remain; will this be the last austerity budget,  will something be given back to the electorate sooner rather than later or a bit of both?

Come October 14th will we be making cartwheels or still trying to dig ourselves out of the sand?

Let’s wait and see!
