Following on from the government announcements recently we have decided to allow our staff to work from home until further notice.  Our services will continue as normal however you can assist in the process by following these recommended guidelines:

  1. Bring forward your cut-offs/timelines (if possible) to mitigate against any potential delays
  2. Communicate primarily by email for payroll instructions
  3. As direct dials will not be available, please only contact by phone if necessary on 01 2698311 to get a message to your administrator.
  4. If you are availing of the Wage Subsidy Scheme from Revenue, please visit this official Revenue page for all details

Jefferson is actively monitoring all developments related to the corona virus (COVID-19) and we are also reviewing and implementing the activities contained in the checklist as provided by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation to ensure a continuation of your payroll service.

As part of normal Business Impact Assessment and Business Continuity planning, Jefferson currently has a number remote workers full-time and we have also tested the ability to increase the number of remote workers significantly (if required) in the event access becomes restricted to our primary office in any way.

urthermore, our 2nd location (Workplace Recovery) in Sungard AS in Parkwest is available to us at short notice (if required).

Our current technology includes remote access connectivity (VPN), providing full use of our server based payroll software for end-to-end processing.

iPayslips, and payment applications are cloud based so these are available from any location.  We also have invested in web/voice conferencing capabilities using 365, Skype & Microsoft Teams and can always access critical documentation and procedures stored on OneDrive, SharePoint & SPRINT (Jefferson’s internal CRM system).

We believe we are well positioned for any potential business continuity scenarios that could arise and this should enable us to ensure our payroll service and payments continue to be processed in a timely manner and in accordance with client payment schedules.
